The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game

This makes a great first board game for young kids because it doesn’t require a lot of strategy, it’s quick to play, and the game rules are easy to understand. Plus, the artwork is adorable! But here’s my favorite aspect of this game: Kids can easily play this independently while you sneak a catnap on the couch.
Age Range: 3 and up

If you have more than one child or your child likes to play board games with friends, you’ll likely want to play this with the kids the first couple of times to help them learn the rules, but after that you can peace out.
From the Manufacturer
Your forest friends are hungry, and they need your help! Spin the spinner, squeeze the matching colored acorn with your Squirrel Squeezer, and place it into your log. Be the first to fill your log with delicious acorns and you win! You could also spin “pick an acorn,” “steal an acorn,” or “lose an acorn,” so be strategic, little squirrel!
This game reinforces color learning; develops strategic thinking, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and pre-handwriting skills while using the squeezer; encourages social skills and turn-taking; and practices memory and attention skills. Great first board game for a child with easy setup and cleanup!
WARNING: Choking Hazard – Contains small parts not suitable for children under 3 years.

Simple and skill building
Jen Paisley –
A fun game that helps younger kids work on fine motor skills. My 5 year old had a tough time accepting when he landed on the storm and lost all of his acorns.
Laura Smith –
This is a very simple game and it's pretty silly. It is definitely for YOUNG children, BUT it can also take too long to play, so they sometimes get bored. Not very impressive.
Isabel –
Made well, good quality, and fun for a toddler up to maybe 3 years old. The biggest takeaway from this was probably practicing the hand/arm muscles and moving the acorns from 1 point to another. It wasn't that easy to place the acorns on the logs. They tended to fall out, unless done at a certain angle. It's an ok game, didn't keep my toddler's interest as long as I had hoped.

We love Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel in our house! We purchased this for my now 8 year old when she was 4 and our now 3 year old loves it as well. It is a fun and engaging game for all ages. It has helped my 3 year old with her colors as well as her fine motor skills. We love the Squirrel game!
Kassi –
Great game for 3 to 5 yr olds, though my 13 yr old will sit and play this one with us. Quick gameplay, great for working in taking turns. My little loves the squirrel tool and stealing acorns from other players.

Nice game for younger kids to play with grandparents. Our 3 girls enjoyed it. I would say for ages between 4-9 is best. Kind of a beginner game and nice to practice taking turns, counting, using the tool. Overall a nice, easy game.
