This game is a family favorite. My son started playing it when he was 8. He loves any sort of strategy game and this is perfect for him. It is great for family game night with kids and grandparents. Can’t wait to try out some of the expansion sets.

My 8 yo loves this game. We played it for hours, yes that’s multiple hours in the weeks after we got it. We love the different strategies that can be used, along with some luck. My son’s sense of geography improved greatly. It’s super awesome that there are expansion packs and other game boards of other places in the world. Definitely worth the steep price.

I love playing ticket to ride. A friend of mine introduced me to it and printed some user published maps in addition to the original board. To win, competitiveness and strategy are key.

This game is awesome. My 8 year old loves to play and try and block my route. My 6 year old could play but she loses interest on her route. It’s still a fun, geographic learning, game.

We LOVE Ticket to Ride!! We own several versions and even the phone app! One thing that I would change, is that ALL versions have full-sized train cards. Some have smaller cards and they are obnoxious. Other than that, we love the game and play it all the time!!

Love this game! I’ve played it with kids as young as 10 and they had no problem picking up the rules. My husband and I play it all the time!

Definitely one of my 13 year olds favorite games to play. We love the strategy and the concept is easy enough to teach friends and them be able to catch on and enjoy the game as well. Our younger girls love to watch (ages 5 and 6) but they can’t quite catch on to play themselves yet. We might have to try Ticket to Ride first journey for them!

This is a great game for teaching geography and counting. We love it as it is very easy to learn and the little ones can help as well even if they aren’t old enough to play.

My family loves Ticket to Ride. We play it whenever someone new comes to our house as an easy introduction into board games. It can take a while to play (an hour or so) depending on how quick the players pick up on the rules/strategy. We also like that there are multiple expansion packs with other maps. As our family loves to travel, it’s fun to play a game set in places we know!
This is good for elementary and above. Some younger kids might play with some help. My 4 year old loves to line up the train pieces so he plays on my team.
Highly recommend this game!

Now that my children are 8 and 11 years old, we often play Dixit and Ticket to Ride (the regular version). We love them both!
