I bought this game last year at your recommendation. My grandchildren, ages 4-10, just love it. It’s their favorite game to play at Grandma’s by far. They love the drama of stealing someone’s queen or putting her to sleep, with the option of blocking with a dragon or magic wand. What’s not to love? The four year old plays with an older partner. I think it’s a bit hard to follow for four.

I love that it’s simple enough and short enough not to overtax anyone. The characters are delightful and fun to compete for. The incorporation of simple math and memory skills is great for elementary age kids.

My entire family loves this game! We have a 4, 6, and 10 year old. It’s fun and funny, and just the right amount of time. The younger kids get number and math practice and the older kids and adults try for strategy. Super fun!

This is such a fun game for the whole family. My 4 year old picked it up quickly but there’s so much going on in the game it keeps everyone engaged, even the adults! It’s a great tool for teaching math in a meaningful way and keeping track of rules and cause and effect relationships. My little guy loves being able to steal mommy’s queens. This game usually results in lots of laughter and cheers. I highly recommend this for every family!

Definitely our family’s go to card game! Says 8+ but we have a 4 year old that loves it! The math it teaches is awesome. A must have for family night.

My son and I are obsessed with this game. There are a lot of rules but they’re easy to remember, and they make the game interesting. It’s exciting to have a chance to steal another’s queen, only to have a dragon get your knight.

We LOVE Sleeping Queens! Kids and adults can play this together and it’s so much fun, even if you play it over and over! Teaches kids strategy and addition – you have to agree beforehand if you will collect 5 queens or 50 points. It’s a fast game and not boring even if you play one game after another. Best for ages 5 and up.

Great game for all ages. It is a very unique game that has some fun rules that no other game we have played has. Even our 2 year old enjoys “playing” and loves the pictures on the cards. My 5 year old just told me to rate it 100 stars because it is so awesome!

I learned about Sleeping Queens from Kelly at Happy You, Happy Family. We got it for Christmas 2019, and it is our new go-to game. We love that it is a quick game we can play on a weekday night after dinner and before bed. We love that a six-year-old designed the game. Our seven-year-old says his favorite part of Sleeping Queens is “the knights and stealing.” Our eleven-year-old says, “It is ingenious. How they came up with the cards to attack and defend.” Our one-year-old loves to choose the sleeping queens from the table. It is such a great game, and we all enjoy it! The grandparents love to play it when they come to visit, too.

My 6 year old daughter can play this for over an hour. It is fast and easy to play. We like to steal and block each other from getting our queens. An added bonus is that the queens were named by an 8 year old girl. Go Girl Power!

We got this game for my daughter at Christmas when she was 6. It was easily learned and quickly became a competition between parents and kids on who could get the most queens. As she got older, she learned to strategize more and look for which queens were more valuable when stealing. We have enjoyed this game for almost a year now, and is still one of our go-to weekly games.

We love this game! I have 3 kids and we started playing when the oldest was in Kindergarten. The littler ones need help with the math, but I love that this game introduces some new concepts and that I can see how their skills improve as they grow. Plus, the artwork is great!

We purchased this game for my 6 yo middle daughter to have fun learning math and her 2 yo little sister immediately played too! This game is fantastic for children to learn math and numbers and counting without realizing they are learning! It’s quick to learn and fun to play but also has great illustrations and queens that my children still like to collect their favorites!
