One of our family favorites for decades! If you like the card game Rummy then you’ll like the tile version in this game. Being able to add onto and change the make-up of what is on the board is fun and can sometimes get out of control depending who you’re playing with.

I first played this game in my 30’s with my parents. Then we were having such fun the younger family wanted to join in. It is great when a game can span 3 or 4 generations and still be really enjoyed by all. I am a big fan of young kids socializing with the older generations so as they play, the older players just naturally start telling stories from their childhood or the young kid’s parents childhood. Kids don’t even realize that they are learning important family stories and how they can relate to older generations in other situations.

We LOVE Rummikub!!! We’ve owned it for years and years and played it until some of the tiles are hard to read! It IS limited to 4 players (sometimes tough for larger families like ours), but it is easy to learn and fun to play with kids and adults. I would say you need to be at least 8 to understand all the rules and how to rearrange the tiles to your advantage. Great classic game!!!!

Fun family game! I’ve enjoyed this one for many years, and it’s such a good one for a wide variety of ages. My kids love finding patterns, and my 3yo can “help” one of the adults. This isn’t one that will be in the garage sale when the kids are older, because they don’t outgrow it. So fun!

I started playing Rummikub with my grandmother 40 years ago and can honestly say I have played it almost every year since! This game is easy enough for 5 year olds to play, but is great fun for every age. I play this with friends and kids. ***Bonus – if your kids like to play cards but can’t hold them, this is a great option because the tiles sit on a holder and they can move them around and everything.

I love this game. I grew up playing it at the cottage when I was young and I highly recommend it. It’s a great alternative to a card game, but teaches the young ones how to play more complex card games using tiles. I also love how inexpensive it is. You can always get creative with the rules for little kids with colors and numbers. Definitely a staple!!

This is a staple in our house! I’ve been playing this since I was a kid and now I play Rummikub with my family. We play this at least 2-3 times per week. We are very competitive so one game usually turns into a tournament. Best. Game. Ever!

This has been a great family game. My 4 year old can even play in her own way. It is even better for a larger number of players and is a challenge for adults too. The tiles are fun to manipulate and is a nice twist on a well known card game.

This is a great QUICK game for all ages! Some family games like Monopoly can take FOREVER, but this one is fast enough that you can even play more than one round if you want. Plus, it’s not way easy like some games for kids, so it’s actually a challenge for me as an adult too! Keeps my brain active. 🙂
