I LOVE this game! When my kids were 2 and 5, I wanted to find a game that EVERYONE in our family could play together. Our youngest wanted to be involved when we played games and he didn’t enjoy being on a “team” with an adult. This was the perfect solution! The game was simple enough that my 2 year could play, but still entertaining enough that my 5 year old wasn’t bored. I also love that it reinforced skills like counting and recognizing colors while we played. My favorite aspect of the game is that the pieces are sturdy, and I LOVE that the fruit and bird are made of wood! We recommend this game to all of our friends and family with toddlers who want to be involved in family game night!

This is a wonderful beginner “board game” – it teaches colors, sorting, counting and taking turns. A big plus is that it’s a cooperative game – no sore losers, as you work together to get the basket before the raven does. Built very well, no sharp edges, very sturdy.

We love this game at our house! It is such a great beginner game! It is quick setup, and quick play for short attention spans. I love that we can take turns but we are working together to beat that pesky black bird from eating their fruit! We still play it occasionally and my kids are in elementary! It is sturdy and well made!

My daughter just turned two and she loves this game. She likes to get out 4 or 5 stuffed animals to take turns along with herself and me! She pretends to eat the fruit before she puts it in the basket, too. I really like that you can use this game to practice sorting, color words, starting sounds (“plum starts with the /p/ sound…”) and other concepts. (Your turn is first, my turn is second, Mr. Tibby the Tabby Cat’s turn is third…) even if a toddler doesn’t always have the patience to finish a whole game.

My two year old loves this game. We don’t EXACTLY play by the rules YET, but that will come in time. Her favorite part about the game is setting it up all by herself. She sorts the fruit by colors and sets them on the trees. I would definitely recommend this game to a friend as it teaches colors, sorting, taking turns, and it’s just fun (even for Mom)! Every single weekend, at least a couple times a day, she requests to play her “fwuit game.”
