My kids (Ages 4 and 6) love this game and it’s been a favorite of ours! This is the game we always bring with us on our travels because it’s small and entertains over and over again. The game really inspires a lot of creative storytelling by getting kids to think of various plots by viewing the characters and images in the cards. I think I have inspired some young writers because after we play this the kids often want to write their own stories! Highly recommend.

We had the Mystery in the Forest version. Beautiful illustrations and good quality cards. It was ok – teaches kids how to use their imaginations but… my 5 year old did not enjoy it too much. Ended up giving it away after a few months of trying to make her enjoy it.

These are great cards for story telling! We’ve even taken them to family parties with the intention of the kids practicing public speaking, but the adults have ended up telling hilarious stories. It’s a fun game to play together, everyone taking turns to tell the story. It’s also great for improv when I pick cards randomly for the kids as they tell the story. We definitely recommend this. The artwork is cute and it’s a great way to get creative with the kids!

A new story every time! We usually split up cards, then take turns telling the story we created. I love how it gets my kids’ creative juices flowing. There are more story decks from this company too!

This little game is quick, easy, and fun! You pick a card, say “Once upon a time…”, and let your child fill in the details. Then you can ask follow-up questions like “and then what happened?” until they peter out. I love that this requires minimal brainpower from me when I’m tired (which is always) and my daughter LOVES coming up with the stories. Great for her imagination!
